A request I need to progress in the manga

Tue Oct 20, 2009, 8:35 AM
Well first of all, the music stuff goes, but it will be a pic with the links.
With that said I kind of have a request; I need to create around 68 new pokémons, I have some ideas but 70 or around that is too much, there's no way in hell I can make so many, so I need help to design them. Not for free, but all I can do is an art trade *Scratches head* Is not much but I really need some help there.

If you can help me let me know. The only specifications are:

-No legendaries
-Starters are fines as long as they have fire, grass and water as one of their types.
-Try to base it on existing animals that are still unused or mythological that also are unused (a pegasus or a lion is fine for example, but a horse or a cat is already done)

Especific pokemon I need:

-A dragon/dark one with three stages of evolution
-A dragon/fire one with three stages of evolution, and levitate.
-A fighting/dark one.
-A Pachirisu evolution
-A Lumineon evolution
-Evolution for the weakest bug pokemons
-A Farfetchd evolution
-A sableye evolution

If possible give me their typing (if it changes) and abilites (not too powerful) and of course their name. Sketches are fine, colored pictures are even better, everything is welcome, if it's a cute, funny, cool, scary pokémon, do as you think is the best.

I'd really appreciate the help people.

Curse you Murphy and your laws! And music proposal

Soo I had an accident, well my mother got hospitalized due an injury, fortunately she is okay now, but when I went to visit her I left the chapter 3 drawings in the room, what happens? She get's a room change and all my work is considered "simple scraps my son made" so they were throw to the trash. In the end...I'm starting the same thing over, but at the very least I can fix a couple of things, so I guess good things happen.

Meanwhile I wanted to ask you guys something, when you draw do you listen to certain music or imagine certain scene with certain piece? I do personally so If you are interested I could give you guys a link to listen online the music I've been using (no downloads I am afraid) if you want to know let me know.

Oak's Report 2

Write out the names of your characters and explain
1) How you thought of their name
2) What made you create the character in the first place
3) How the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
4) Any random fun fact about that character

Okay I think I'll use 3 OC and my version of Pikachu (Who I actually made a character)

But first a little explanation:

Nightshade Blossom initially was meant as a sequel to the anime, featuring Kiara (the red eyed girl) as the main character, while Ash was already the world champion for 6 years. Kiara (whose name was originally Arielle) was a genius and introverted trainer who when receiving her starter in her graduation day, she met a young boy named Nathan (the previous role of the red haired kid). In this version the story was kind of similar, the visions were the same but Nathan and Kiara were suffering them, the ghost was after Kiara and the homicides at the church were Nathan's doing, but in that version he didn't wield a sword and used his pokémon instead. Also there were no Light, Time, Space and Darkness archetypes. Eventually that evolved into the actual Nightshade Blossom the more elements I saw in the anime and games to use and especially for the characters. Dawn, Brock, Misty and other anime characters had minor roles or were siply cameos, while Mia didn't appear at all.

1-Name: Kiara Nidream. The name means "Darkness a dream in the Night". This was thought since the character has a two face personality, the shy and kind outside but a murderous and psychopathic interior, who acts colder to others. Also her whole team is Darkness based.
2-Origin: Kiara was moved from the main protagonist role of the original story to a major protagonist. She was initially the main character, but focusing the WPBF AND the visions on her was too much, so she was removed from the trainer role and focused on the latter.
3-Changes: Kiara's lack of stability between her two sides becomes little by little balanced, leading to her gentle side. Also her shyness disappears in the end.
4-Fun Fact: Her red eyes are a contrast to her cute face, making something feel wrong when looking at her, also they shapeshift from the sad looking ones to feline like ones. Her hair is pink and has a silver flick near her right eye contrasting her eyes. She is left handed. If she had a seiyuu it would be Nana Mizuki.

1-Name: Fate Vitacrucis. Fate is Nathan's incarnation in this story, unlike his original part Fate is much colder and well mannered. His name means "Destiny a life of sorrow". Much to match the character's depressive attitude and reaction towards others.
2-Origin: Originally as Nathan he was a breeder who showed Kiara good things in life, but the radical change was needed to make him an enigma, due to being the goal of Ash Ketchum in Nightshade Blossosm, since Ash was removed from the champion role to the lead one. For that reason he also becomes the main protagonist along Ash, to show the trainer's life from the other point of view, the top.
3-Changes: His coldness and evil sides eventually begin to calm, but he has to deal with a greater problem, he has to destroy the thing he despises most in the world but is unable, because said thing is inmortal; himself.
4-Fun Fact: Fate's still holds a relationship with Kiara, but this time they hate each other with their hearts, unlike the original where they even were in love. Fate's eyes are pink for the same reason Kiara's are red, since Fate's expression is much harsher than Kiara the effect is the same with the opposing elements. He has dark red hair with black hair ends, much opposing to Kiara. His eyes also shapeshift, but from feline to sad looking. He is ambidiextrous. He has a huge soft spot for sweet things. If he had a seiyuu it would be Jun Fukuyama.

1-Name: Maria Neveing. Her name means "Sea of Bitterness lasting forever" The name is an irony to he happy exterior and friendly personality but also to show her inner doubts and pans, her worries and sorrows. Her outer self hides a girl who only wants to cry.
2-Origin: She didn't appear in the original story, but when I saw the overactive type of girl I wanted to include a cute and friendly character, with strong temper but also very emotive, that is why I decided to include Maria and to have it a connection with Ash as a close friend, when I noticed the leaf green girl design was never used in the anime I thought it would be perfect to use it and also it could make a very well done relationship with Ash without many introductions or too many OCs.
3-Changes: Eventually she shows her own sorrow but starts to solve them, but that's just the beginning.
4-Fun Fact: She is like Ash's mentor and older sister in many ways, and an excelent fencer. She likes to pretend being more mature than she is but only to give others a feeling of reliability. Her eyes are glowing orange only in this story. If she had a seiyuu it would be Aya Hirano

1-Name: Aeon (Pikachu) which means "eternal" is the name given because I wanted to raise the point that he is an everlasting friend even when he is not with Ash.
2-Origin: I always got bothered that even with all the talk that Pokemon are special and stuff, they are never more than pets or simple animals, we never get to see or hear them drive them the plot. Aeon takes care of that in a world appart from humans but within Pokémon. Also his actions are what produces a 180 degree personalty twist in Ash.
3-Changes: Aeon is perhaps the most complex character in Nightshade Blossom, he starts as the friendly Pikachu, but that soon comes to an end.
4-Fun Fact: He is annoyed when people call him Pikachu if they know his name. He can write and read human language perfectly, he can't speak it due to biological reasons. If it wasn't for Ash, he would kill his opponents. If he had a Seiyuu (As Aeon) it would be Akira Ishida

----------HOLD EVERYTHING----------

Thu Sep 3, 2009, 6:39 PM
"My deepest apologies guys, but this is the early end of Nightshade Blossom. It's been two years already and I really put what I could on it, but it kinda feels unrewarding, all this time and not really an achievement that's worth it. It may sound selfish but it really doesn't seem the manga was worth reading that much, I tried to make a different Pokémon story something that didn't focus on random trainer of random region reciving random pokémon and facing random team, or a shipping strip...but in the end I failed. When I count the pages I do see that there's not much of a deal in all that work anyways I tried many times to make it better with each update, but in the end it ended in the opposite and people started to go away more and more. The only ones left are a bunch of guys I am really thankful to, who were already mentioned before.
This time...I am giving up with it, but at the very least I had fun myself writting and drawing this whole thing.
Thanks guys, it was a good ride for a while."

God f*cking damn it! What the hell?! Please guys don't pay attention to this misunderstanding! That is just a lie! I DO NOT PLAN TO ABANDON ANYTHING!

Dude...I didn't even write that, I was hospitalized due to Paquimeningitis (no idea how to translate that) so I asked a classmate who visited me there to put in my DA an entry telling that I was going to take longer than expected, so I gave him my password. And what the hell do I find?! A goddamn memento! The moron wrote all this bullcrap and even whined for me! And on top of that, he used the very last page of the whole story as a last will letter or something!

Man what an Idiot, he must have taken a rant I had in the hospital to write this...well I have to be honest so this what I said:

"A thing that pisses the living s*it out of me is that when you try a Pokémon comic you are doomed to be a nobody unless you either do a shitty sprite comic or a corny shipping. The sprites comics are a mock to the guys who actually try to put effort in creating a manga, they have the pro that they can make a whole chapter in like 10 minutes because Oh it's so hard to work with sprites! (Sarcasm). Just playing around with graphics show nothing, they don't show emotion or effort or donkey dick in their pages and almost all the sotries just are made up trainers who mirror the style of the anime, adventures in a new region with a team who wants to conquer the world and that sort of crap, but since they can be updated quickly they are successful.
On the other have we have shippings...PURE FANSERVICE! What? I like romance as much as the guy next door, but I like developed relationships not a Romeo and Juliet sort of fluffyness where characters act out of their personality just to fill a romantic ideal of the author, but with the massive rabid fanbase of shippers, a corny colored scene with Ash kissing a girl or a manga of guys falling in love in the first pages are a massive success...Why? Because all they do is give people what they want, no inspiration, no work on a story, just freaking FAN f**king service to please people! Sometimes I feel I shouldn't have wasted ideas or characters in a Pokémon manga and done something else"

There I said it, I admit I went overboard with the rant, but it is how I really feel sometimes, also being hospitalized really makes your mood get baaad. Now forgive me for such insults, and please keep enjoying the sprite comics or the romance art, don't let my opinion get to you, it's just the OPINION of one guy, not a fact or anything that should get in the way.

Well back on topic, sorry for this massive misunderstanding, I never had the intention of leaving my manga (first DEATH) I just had a bad moment and entrusted important things to a moron. If he was rude to some of you by telling crap to you in comments and sort of that I am really sorry. The first thing I did was to change my password, and keep working on chapter 3. I am writting several chapters before drawing them to make a better narration that's why is taking me so long BUT NOT BECAUSE I WANTED TO END THIS!

I am really sorry, guys, I am not leaving this I hope you understand...that I entrusted something important to an idiot.

BTW, Animemangafreak123 I asked him to tell you in your DA page especially of the hiatus, I hope he didn't do anything stupid.

Well it's gonna take time, but Nightshade Blossom IS NOT OVER!
